Christine Chung, DMD
Christine Chung, DMD, is a skilled dentist serving patients at Dental Studio of Jersey City in Jersey City, New Jersey. Dr. Chung specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry.
Early on in her academic career, Dr. Chung knew she wanted to pursue dentistry. At the University of Pittsburgh, she enrolled in a seven-year accelerated program that earned her both a Bachelor of Science in general chemistry and biology and a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
Now, as a practicing professional, Dr. Chung is dedicated to enhancing the smiles and oral health of her patients. She focuses on taking ample time to understand the varied needs and concerns of her patients. Her patients laud the personalized attention and treatment, and that is why she continues to develop close personal relationships with patients and their families.
Dr. Chung’s expertise ranges from comprehensive exams and preventive care to more complex cosmetic procedures such as dental implant restorations, veneers, Invisalign®, BOTOX®, and fillers. She works closely with her patients to develop individualized plans that address their goals, health considerations, and budgets.
In order to keep up with her peers and stay up on the latest field trends, Dr. Chung regularly attends annual continuing education courses. Dr. Chung also holds membership in several professional dentistry organizations, including the New Jersey Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Outside of the office, Dr. Chung enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her work colleagues. She also likes to travel and try out new restaurants.

Namrata Shitut, DMD
Dr. Namrata “Nami” Shitut is a compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. As a valued member of the Dental Studio of Jersey City family, Dr. Nami brings a unique perspective to her practice, having experienced the office both as a member of the clinical team and as a treating dentist. Her familiarity with the practice and its patients reflects her genuine commitment to creating a comfortable, welcoming, and trusted dental experience.
Dr. Nami earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in India, followed by postgraduate residency training in general dentistry. She later earned a Master of Science in Biomaterials Science from New York University, where her research focused on dental materials, particularly dental ceramics. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nami is licensed to practice dentistry in both India and the United States.
Throughout her training and career, Dr. Nami has remained committed to making quality dental care accessible to patients from diverse backgrounds. She has provided care to underserved communities in rural India and participated in community-based dental care for underserved populations in Philadelphia. These experiences have strengthened her belief that every patient deserves thoughtful, respectful, and comprehensive care.
Dr. Nami provides general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry with a personalized approach. She believes excellent dentistry begins with listening, clear communication, and trust. Her goal is to help patients understand their oral health, feel informed about their treatment options, and feel confident in their care.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Nami regularly pursues continuing education in dental techniques, materials, and technology. She is a member of the American Dental Association and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
